Hi guys! 🙂 I’ll be sharing with you my current toner. So, today’s blog is all about Garnier Milky Lightening Dew Toner! 😄
I bought this last February and I’ve used this for a month. That time, I was looking for a new toner that I can try because I already ran out of my Celeteque Hydration Toner.
So, here’s a review of Garnier Milky Lightening Dew Toner:
Available at: Watsons
Net Weight: 150 ml
Its fresh milky formula is enriched with Pure Lemon Essence to help skin smoother, lighter, softer and the complexion more even. Dermatologically tested on Asian Skin.
PACKAGING. It has an eye catching yellow-colored bottle like the other Garnier Skin Naturals Light Complete Series.
And the flip of the cap is very easy to open.
TEXTURE. It has a thick milky consistency unlike the usual toner that we always use.
SCENT. It has a refreshing lemony scent which I really like.
HOW TO USE. Cleanse face thoroughly and then pat dry. Pour a desired amount of toner on a cotton pad or ball, then swipe over skin, avoiding the eye contour.
WHAT’S THE USE OF TONER? To remove oil and traces of dirt from your skin that your cleanser didn’t. It has alcohols which help you to remove excess oil from your skin to prevent breakouts especially for those who have acne prone skin.
I always look for some special ingredients like those brightening agents like lemon. Lemons help you brighten your skin, they are rich in Vitamin C and Citrus Acid which can brighten and lighten your skin and even your dark spots.
I love the refreshing feature of this toner. But I was less sure of its brightening benefits. I still didn’t notice any lightening effects.
It helps to moisture and refresh my skin. This toner can hydrate your skin enough, I have combination skin and I can even use it alone without applying moisturizer. I think this product will not work for those people who have oily skin. But if you want to try this, you can skip on applying moisturizer.
Overall, I recommend this toner to those people with dry skin, it might work for you but not to those people with oily skin. But please bear in mind that this product may or may not work for everyone. This is exclusively based on my experience! 😉
